TERMS & CONDITIONS
We will do our utmost to keep to the prices published. If, however, increases are forced on us we reserve the right, prior to confirmation, to amend the tour price.
DAY TOURS:
Depending on certain factors such as when tour is booked, etc. either a 25% or 50% non-refundable deposit will be requested.
The outstanding balance is payable to the guide in cash on the day of the tour.
Full payment is due if tour is cancelled less than 24 hours before pick up time.
Itinerary subject to change: every effort will be made to keep the itinerary as is; however, the final itinerary may vary due to wine producer schedules, availability and factors beyond our control. The Wine Desk reserves the right to make any changes to the itinerary without written notice:
ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS:
A non-refundable 20% booking fee will be requested to confirm bookings, and the balance payable directly to the establishment. Some establishments may have additional requirements eg. 50% deposit or request credit card details, in order to secure the booking. This is in addition to the 20% booking fee.
PACKAGED TOURS:
Please take note of the mentioned inclusions and exclusions in the price of the tour package.

Full payment due 30 days prior to commencement of tour (60 days for group bookings)
Final confirmation of booking is only made on receipt of the above-mentioned deposit. Should the deposit not be received as requested, the Wine Desk reserves the right to automatically cancel the booking without any verbal or written notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are refundable only if cancellations are received in writing as follows:
- 75% refund cancelled 60 days or more prior to commencement of tour
- 50% refund cancelled 30 days or more prior to commencement of tour
- 25% refund cancelled 15 days or more prior to commencement of tour
- No refund cancelled 10 days or less prior to commencement of tour
There will be no refunds for any part of the tour that may be missed due to personal reasons.
The Wine Desk, it's servants, agents and employees or sub-contractors shall not be liable for any loss or damage to tourists/passengers, luggage or effects. Nor for any injury or incidents to tourists/passengers or their belongings. The tourist/passenger hereby waives any claim which he/she may have against Wine Desk, it's servants, agents, employees or sub-contractors (all of the aforementioned being collectively referred to as Wine Desk). For any injury and/or loss of any nature whatsoever (including, without limiting the generality of the aforegoing, consequential loss) arising for any reason of any nature whatsoever directly or indirectly out of any aspect of the tour including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any form of transport used for the purpose of the tour. This waiver shall be binding on the tourist's/passenger's executors, heirs, trustees and dependants. The tourist/passenger records that all the services and facilities provided to the tourist/passenger are accepted voluntarily and with full knowledge that they may expose the tourist/passenger to injury, danger or loss. The tourist/passenger further records that any statement, representation or information given to him/her by Wine Desk shall, unless given in writing, not prejudice this waiver in any manner whatsoever. The tourist/passenger indemnifies the Wine Desk in respect of any claim that may be made by any third party against it arising out of any claim in respect of which the tourist/passenger gives the aforementioned waiver. This agreement shall be governed solely by laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Whether the tourist/passenger/booking agent returns a signed copy of these conditions or not, the conditions will deem to have been accepted and will be enforced upon confirmation of the booking.
