We offer a superb advisory service if you are planning your own trip. Below you will find some suggestions from our side, and also if you go to What to do in Cape Town you can make a selection of all items that interest you. Forward them to us and we will look at logistics; availability (eg. Table Mountain may be closed for maintenance at certain times of the year; or some wineries are closed on weekends during the winter season) and then provide you with our proposal for your itinerary, with your accommodation and visits all booked! Also included in the itinerary are detailed directions on how to get where you want to be. This itinerary comes to you at no cost provided we do all bookings for you.
South Africa currently boasts over 500 wine cellars crushing grapes within 16 wine routes with an estimated over 5000 wine labels. We would love to show you them all, but time has shown us that the majority of our guests only have a few days, some only one day, to spend in the Winelands.
We have therefore hand-picked wineries for our day tours which offer a representative overview of the South African wine industry. Our selection includes from larger corporate-owned wineries with huge production capacities, to smaller boutique family-owned wineries. All offer superb quality wines reflecting their terroir and own style. In addition, many have unique offerings such as al fresco picnics; cheeses; olives; brandy; wildlife; African Craft Markets; etc. These are the wineries included in our scheduled itineraries and are useful for those guests who are happy to go on our recommendations.
We are, however, willing and able to replace these with any winery of your choice. You name them, we get you there.
Please see our selection below divided into the wine routes. To give you a taste, we have included links to their websites.
