SATURDAY CLUB
Whether you are a South African, an overseas visitor, a beginner wine drinker or a seasoned wine lover, the WINE DESK SATURDAY CLUB is for you!
It's informal and it's all about enjoying ourselves and the Cape's wonderful wines!
We organise 4 events per year.
We’ll send out a notice well in advance of each event. All you have to do, is respond to the invitation if you'd like to join us. As events are planned we will post them on our website.
How to join
Please click on this link http://winedeskwaterfront.co.za/newsletter/?p=subscribe Once we have you on our mailing list, you will be kept informed of all up-coming events. There is no compulsory attendance and no membership fee – you come and go as you please.
What does it cost?
There is no membership fee and the cost of the various outings will vary, depending on the wineries to be visited, the cost of the lunch and the number of members attending. When we send out the invitations, we will inform you of the cost of that particular event.
Who can come?
Anyone and everyone. Bring a friend or two. Forward this e-mail to anyone you think may be interested in joining. We regret, no children under 18.
Rules of the game
If you book and do not cancel by the Wednesday (close of business) before the event, you will be invoiced for that particular day. The only reason for this is that a meal would have been booked for you, and someone will have to pay the costs should you not pitch. No pay, no play.
How to get there
You use your own transport. The up side of this is that you can leave when you need to (you know, rugby; your best friend's wedding, etc, etc). We will let you know what time we kick off for the day and where.
Our commitment
We promise you an experience that you would not get as an individual visiting a wine farm. We’ll keep the visits interesting, trendy, and as low-priced as possible. Also, any ideas and contributions are welcome.

| How much? |
R200pp - does not include wine and beverages, but includes both tastings and lunch. Smulpaap is happy for you to purchase your wine for lunch at the wineries we'll be visiting (no corkage fee). Special discounts have been arranged for those who wish to purchase wines. |
