JOIN THE HARVEST OF 2009!
It has become very popular amongst visitors to the Winelands to take part in the harvest and get hands-on in the vineyards and cellars! Many wineries have recognised this and in recent years the trend for wineries to offer such an event has increased.
It is with great pleasure that we list as many of these events as possible. Please feel free to contact the wineries directly should you want to join them.
First Spier Harvest Festival a must for lovers of fine wine!
The Spier Harvest Festival on Saturday 21 February is a must for those with a love for fine South African wine. Wine tasting by the glass will begin at 10am with farm-fresh food stalls and traditional harvest festivities. An eco-friendly, fun, and informative children’s space will allow quality tasting time for parents and other adults!

The event finale at 8pm will see local legends take to the stage for the Spier Harvest Legends Concert. Included in the line up are Judith Sephuma, Koos Kombuis, Zanne Stapelberg, Melanie Scholtz, and Nomfusi Gotyana, performing to the tunes of the ‘handpicked’ Spier Harvest Festival Symphony Orchestra.
